Given the current technology, the Bewitched remake could have been something to see; that is, if they had not come up with a stupid plot.
I did the same.
I refuse to support an industry committed to insulting me with their product. I refuse to support court jesters who think they're kings.
I resent the banality of movies that show endless Hollywood lounge lizards and lowlifes in Ancient Rome, in the Middle ages, in middle America, in almost every movie they put out.
We "get" the people who don't want to follow the rules, the woman as slut, the female teenager as brilliant, the teenage boy as geek, the adult man as eternal teenager, the kids as smart, the husband as stupid and the wife as fool. It's not original, not charming and not worth the price of a ticket.
Oh yeah, and the villains. The villains are the opposite of those in the red states. Hollywood hates the person who might stop their exploitive antics. Therefore the policeman is a villain and the thug is a hero. The person in the military is sadistic and the gang member is wise. The whore/slut is charming, the wife is a drag. The teacher is the one who cares about the child and the father isn't. In the real world, it's the exact opposite. It's stupid. Brain numbingly stupid. Self-serving narcissistic painfully stupid.
Feedback on "Bewitched": "just okay". I asked, what do you mean, was it funny? My contact answered with a shrug, "It was just okay."
