Heh... No, it shouldn't be a law....

I would say this though, that when I was driving all over the state with two 90 pound labradors in the back of my Bronco, I was keenly aware that in the event of a wreck, I had two 90 pound projectiles behind me that would break my neck. I installed one of those mesh guards for that reason. From a safety standpoint, it's not good to have a dog loose in the vehicle with you.

Ping!

you have that right....

I dont think there is a law, but I DO seatbelt my 2 Huskies when we are taking long trips in the car. They both fall asleep so it isn't a big deal.

Can I get on your ping list?

On long trips, the girl rides in the "way back" in her crate.

On short hops, she rides in the back seat and yes, she sticks her head out of the window.

And sometimes she drives the Studebaker . .

For our 70 pound potential projectile, I take the seat belt in the back and clip it across the back seat, and then clip her harness to it with a old carabiner.

It's not perfect, but it gives her some freedom of movement while still preventing her from being thrown forward in case of a wreck.

Its also unsafe to ride a bicycle on any public road....or to not exercise......or to eat too much

Lets pass some laws to correct these horrors.
