Leading Senate Judiciary Democrat Charles Schumer said Sunday that he intends to make gay marriage an issue in the upcoming confirmation battle over President Bush's pick to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

First he was against gay marriage, now he's for it. With 4 countries already signed on and Canada teetering on the brink, Schumer has cast his sails in the direction of moral depravity. "Can't let them get ahead of us".

Go ahead Schumer, make it an issue - watch the American public's overwhelmingly negative response to you.
God almighty - I can NOT understand why so many people pander to and are terrified of a whooping 1% of the population ( if that )

Please do it Schumer - so the people who forgot what your party stands for can remember.

"How does he suddenly have the chutzpah to ask that as a litmus question when he himself opposes it?" WABC Radio host Curtis Sliwa wondered Tuesday morning.

Because he lacks moral clarity, courage, and determination to keep his word.
