The judge might feel differently if someone stuck a gun in his face and held him up a few times...I doubt it. Liberalism is a terminal disease.

Making an ourtrageously biased statement could very easily be taken as a way of avoiding jury duty. I agree. But if so then you'd expect the judge to have mentioned something along those lines in his reply.
