Oh, yes, I did listen to him---he sounded like he was reading from a crime novel...and describing a fictional murder...totally detached from the emotions of the murders.

Scary, yes?

They should have already been executed but criminal justice is a game where the victim always loses.

    This is one way the game could work :
  1. Those violent offenders (including child molesters) who are not executed quickly (some should not live out the month) go to prison.
  2. There is a fixed quota of offenders by offense in prison.
  3. If the offenders in prison can influence people on the outside not to offend in the same category of crime they did, they get to live, albeit in prison.
  4. For every new convict added to the prison population, the current convict with the most points is executed as the new convict takes his place.
