Good idea.
What's shocking to us is that the CIA didn't closely examine this guy as the future ruler of Iran. If they can't even catch this, they're even more ineffective than I thought.
Ping! We've been looking at the wrong Iranian.
It seems to me that the guy in the 1979 photo has higher cheekbones.
However, none of Ahmadinejad photos are at the same profile angle, so it's a little difficult to make a proper comparison.
What makes you think they didn't catch this? What would they have done when they did? I pretty sure the name itself set off red flags all over the place. I wonder if this cat is on the No Fly list.
That was my first question too. How could they not know?
Then my second was, what if they did?

It seems absolutely impossible they didn't know. And the possibility that they did makes my head hurt too.
A former hostage and CIA was just on "Fox and Friends". He was saying it was the guy you have marked out, not the one that is circled.
It sounds like there is a lot of evidence that the new president was involved in the planning of the storming of the Embassy, but I don't think he's been in any of the photos I've seen. The new president is a pretty short guy too.
This was pointed out by somebody in Freeperville yesterday...still the Lamestream Media is focusing on the wrong person.
It seems like Ahmadinejad also has a bigger nose. Compare the Ahma photo in the bottom row, middle, to the hostage taker.

The old circled one seems the same to me. The one on the far right doesn't seem like the same.
I missed all the beginning of this but are we sure the circled one is dead?

We need to be careful with the claims we state. The world is going to think as a nation we are over reactive, and not truthful.
Since,there was earlier talks of a possible invasion on Iran, this only makes us look like untruths will be told to have reasons to take aggressive action. With questions being raised on misintelligence information on WMD, (would be nice to know who the agents were, on another thread it was said he was LDS, but noting confirmed to this point).
We as a people are only going to look very foolish.
We are missing seeing what is happening to us in other areas. As I was working on my papers yesterday, I ran across this site which raises a few areas we need to be concened about:

Some statement in the article might make one a bit angry, but the overall piece does bring up a good point. We are wasting our time with false claims getting angry with misinformation, and letting other issues with will effect our nation, and yes, even "you" in the future, go unnotice.
Glad to see however, some keep their heads about them and think... you must have been a very good marine and man enought to stand by your thoughts.
