I got an email from the trip coordinator, Siobhan, who said Medved's people had not yet confirmed one way or the other but the invitation had been made and was being followed up on.
Sean Hannity almost came on the trip - and in fact if all goes according to plan Melanie will be calling into the radio show. Not sure what the deal with the TV show is... Melanie's working on this angle. I have no info on Hugh Hewitt.

And how do you know they won't? I know Lt. Col. Patterson was working with CENTCOM to try and do this very thing. Whether it happens or not at this point I can't tell you - the problem is that they want to make sure there is good PR for the troops and the mission. Having dead talk radio hosts who went over to put microphones in front of the guys & girls of the Armed Forces.

I'm tired of hearing the negative stories even from FoxNews! All I see is the bombings and the killing. I think this WOT is going to be a war of words. We are fighting for our civilization. The barbarians are at the gate.
