This excerpt, from MSNBC, doesn't get anywhere near the meat of the book - where Fuhrman shows how Michael's inconstent statements, and the timeline of the morning that Terri collapsed, raise a lot of questions - and suspicions. Read the book.

Hi, pnsn. Yep. It's always only a matter of time....
I am buying this book.
and...[someone else asked]...
Why is Fuhrman someone we should take seriously?
First, his only error in the OJ case was denying he'd ever used the n-word when some liberal reporter had him on tape. A dumb error.
Second, his book on the Greenwich murder forced a PD and DA, that had been complicit in a cover-up of long standing, to confront a heinous crime committed by a former resident from a distinguished family. Fuhrman's review of the evidence ultimately resulted in the perp, who had boasted that his family connexions and wealth gave him immunity, going up the river.
Using racist language isn't right, and certainly Fuhrman's lie about that contributed to the injustice that set OJ free. But consider the Blake and Jackson cases and what they say about law in California. And balance that against getting a wealthy murderer convicted.
d.o.l.
Criminal Number 18F
Because his research and writing of another book resulted in a Kennedy going to jail? And thus gives him chops to write about another controversy?
I'm about halfway through the book. Fuhrman does a good job of explaining the medical details. When the paramedics found Terri on the floor of her apartment she had been without oxygen for approximately 7 minutes and had no pulse. How did she get that way? Fuhrman doesn't offer easy answers but he suggests some possible scenarios in very objective fashion.
In addition, the pictures of Terri from when she was a little kid, through her awkward high school years, and her transformation into a beauty in her twenties and then after her collapse are very compelling.
Yup.
He should write a book on Ted Kennedy.
I don't see a political agenda. "Silent Witness" is a very common phrase and even a very common title. Nonetheless, one link to Fuhrman's book shows up at #99 in a Google search. Google ranks in large part by how many links there are to a page, and how many links there are to those links, and so on. It makes sense that a new book doesn't have many links to it yet.
If you search for "Silent Witness"+fuhrman, the new book comes up right away.
All of the big search engines use different techniques. I'm only familiar with Google's (and only a bit there.) They don't do well on things that are so new because there are not a lot of links. Of course, advertisers try to game the search engines to get hits on their own stuff.
There are a lot to try: google, crusty, all the web, ask jeeves, alta vista, wisenut, etc. Most of the time that I try, they all give me the same (and usually only) documents available.
There is a very expensive engine (about $100,000) that will go into various data bases to find stuff. I don't remember the name; the price caused temporary amnesia.
One thing for certain, you just blew your own credibility with this group, with me at the top of the list.
Why would we believe anything from a blond, especially a faux blond? :-)
Fuhrman was railroaded in the O.J. case and has come back to prove himself the best of the bunch. His book Murder in Greenwich exposed the sloppy police work concerning the Kennedy cousin, caused the trial to be reopened and Skakel was convicted for the murder he committed.
Murder in Brentwood lays out the clear case against OJ and shows how the LA cops and the DA's office blew the case.
Why is Mark Fuhrman someone we should take seriously?
Is that a blonde joke?
That was a nice, Christian response! I don't like Mark Fuhrman so you will be joyous if one of my relatives dies? What the heck is wrong with you?
I disagree. I think if the criminal court jury had seen photos of Simpson wearing those Bruno Magli shoes that made the bloody footprints at the murder scene, they would have had no choice. Not even the most brain-dead jury could say that racist cops faked that.
Why would he have access to documents, he wasn't on the case. There is such a thing as patient privacy, no where during this horrific ordeal was it mentioned that he was involved in a investigative manner. If his book is speculative than we already have and read all the speculations of what happened, here on FR there were VOLUMES written.
That's not what was being suggested. The poster said, God forbid something like that should ever happen to you, because then you'd realize what it's like.
You're kidding, right? He wasn't on the Skakel case either but the guy is now in prison.
In Silent Witness, former LAPD detective and New York Times bestselling author Mark Fuhrman applies his highly respected investigative skills to examine the medical evidence, legal case files, and police records. With the complete cooperation of Terri Schiavo's parents and siblings, as well as their medical and legal advisers, he conducts exclusive interviews with forensics experts and crucial witnesses, including friends, family members, and caregivers.
