The left used to hate it when we supported authoritarian regimes that were against communism. The cried about the repression and human rights violations.

Now when we change our policy and take down authoritarian regimes and spread freedom, they cry about the repression and human right violations.

At least their consistent in their own warped way, they're still hard core communists.

Saddam admired Stalin. Both were socialists.

Nothing has changed. The left loves their strong rulers.

The sad fact in all this is that the Left is just plain Anti-American, whether it's communism, fascism or even a form of conservatism. While there are obvious elements of communism within the Muslim governments, one of the greatest ironies is that Islam is one of the most conservative ideologies on the planet. And yet, it is liberals who will excuse it and defend it...in a way they would never do if it existed in this country.

In fact, there is a huge hypocrisy coming from the left as they object to America's efforts to liberalize the Mid-East. These people make all kinds of excuses for Islam's hatred, blaming it on us and our desires for reformation. Yet, as liberals attempt their own reformation within this country, they just expect the rest of us to sit back and accept it. I wonder if they would make these same excuses for our "hatred" should we decide to fight back. I think not, since even reasoned debate is turned into hate speech from these same people.
