Rumsfeld's response to fat Teddy about it being a quagmire when he drove off a bridge leaving a young woman to die was LOL funny! ;-)
A nice selection of SCOTUS toons today. Welcome to a new week. Can't wait to see what madness they have in store for us today.
thanks for starting my week with a smile!

pookie!

Thanks for the ping, Pookie! I really liked the SCOTUS ones and the global salting one!
toonping
Excellent toon, pookie18. Thanks. :-)
i always enjoy pookie's toons (thanx pook) but there are a couple that cross the line to me...
a badly photoshopped job of hillary as a flag burner doesn't help our cause at all. unless she really burned a flag, all a dumb graphic like this does is solidify our reputation as right-wing fanatics with no basis in truth. come on people, be clever with the political cartoons instead of just making up any old accusation against those you oppose.
(don't get me wrong, i completely oppose hillary, but i also oppose making stuff up about her just to hurt her)
ditto with the badly photoshopped "bush as a cowboy on a horse" -- i realize you placate john wayne fans here, but it just doesn't help the cause...
sorry. political cartoons can be such works of art and illustrate a truth in a funny way, but some of these are just cheap shots and as a conservative with respect even for those i disagree with, i hate that.
Funny ... but it's tough to the beat reality
