"Iran, Russia and Israel should all be friends of each other. Throw in all of the other nations into the group and you will have one hell of a party."

There's going to be one hell of a party, but not the way you envision.

Do you wish and pray for lasting peace and happiness for the people of the Middle East, or are you some kind of deluded Armageddon worshiper/believer ?

I quite agree. Any failed suicide bomber should be taken out to some isolated area and detonated, just like they do with other unexploded bombs. I can't believe how stupid Israel is about this. These are young women, they will live for many years, Israel needs to bring back the death penalty.

As far as the sheet department, Hamas has some outfits which look 90% like the Byrd's KKK. Blind hate seems to draw out like minded fashion hounds.

Wanna bet that "sheets" Byrd had his tailored???? Some of them remind me of the klan, the rest remind me of the SLA.

As far as dear Wafa is concerned, I'm of mixed opinion. They treat women worse than sheep. After she was burned and disfigured, who knows what those cavepeople put in her head. What a sick and disgusting waste of humanity.

90% of them suck eggs.

"I wish I could remember what Ann Coulter said after 9/11."

Invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.

Ann Coulter was right.

My mindset about aerial bombardment of Iran's nuclear sites would depend on detailed inside knowledge, which clearly I don't have. But would I prefer the destruction of those sites one way or another to Israel's destruction, yes.

I have no prejudices against Palestinian children. They're captive pawns, rigidly programmed in school, molded by regimes who don't care two cents about them except as possible suicide fodder. I merely pointed out that normal, happy children wouldn't answer 'world peace' when asked what they want most. Children are what they are the world over. Ask a child you know, or any child you meet casually what he/she wants most. You won't get that 'world peace' answer. They don't think about large issues. They think about lunch or dessert or a new toy.

I appreciate your offer of Freeperassistance. However if you knew what was on my mind, and all the different things I have to keep track of, you would understand my reluctance to learn any new time-consuming manual skills. I am allowed this small indulgence.

An Israeli friend of mine said last week that I must have a thousand movies playing in my mind at any given time. He is sort of right. He said he also didn't want to swap his mind for mine. I wouldn't swap mine for anyone's either.

:)

Old Byrd brain starches his sheets.

With Wafa & other similar cases, we know the top jihadists have recently targeted those which are really vulreable and in that sick society she was a prime target, just as fooling kids with insane promises of the virgin baloney.

Note that the big shots of Hamas, Islamic Jihad & the rest of the terror gangs do not self detonate themselves, but snare youths with every gimmick & illusion quoted from the green leather bound book until the delusional bird brains so worked up they explode.

people existed in a state of total fear during Saddam's former Ba'athist Iraqi dictatorship

Sadly, it seems that many of these populations are incapable of living in a society that is not a police state or a dictatorship. It may have something to do with the nature of Islam (since its ideal society is a theocracy administered under a very harsh legal system).

There was little random violence under Saddam, but a lot of state-sponsored violence. We thought that when we got rid of Saddam, people would seize the chance to live in a society that was not a dictatorship and where they were not subject to random violence and brutality. Some of them do appear to want this, but others seem to see the removal of the dictator as simply permission to start their own violent campaign for dominance. Perhaps it is the result of decades of life under a dictatorship, which deprived people of any understanding of how to live in a more open society, or perhaps it is the result of the internal dynamic of Islam itself.

"But would I prefer the destruction of those sites one way or another to Israel's destruction, yes."

Your thinking is one-tracked.

How about..."I would prefer that Iran and Israel come to some sort of peaceful resolution of their differences."

Also, I can prove scientifically, empirically, legally, and any other way that is necessary, that violence is not innate from birth. Because I know this to be the case I also know that problems can be resolved without violence. I do also know however that if two people are trying to make peace and another wants to destroy that trust-building, the third person must be stopped. Peace building is multi-faceted. The key is to use as little violent force as possible. i.e.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

Neither the Palestinian people nor the Israelis should have to pay for the fanatical acts of their extremists.

Isn't it nice how they can turn a murdering terrorist into an 'extremist' to be socially acceptable??? And over 70% of these muzlims living in Southern Israel 'admit' to being 'extremists'...That is, they want to see every Israeli that breathes air to be extinguished from the face of the earth...

In fact, about 100% of all muzlims worldwide hold this 'extremist' view of the Jews...Extremist my derriere...

"Satan" in Hebrew means "Adversary".

A very apt definition.

Not everyone in the Holy Land wants to kill each other. Should we focus on the positives or the negatives.

A famous Jewish sage from the 1750's, the Baal Shem Tov was asked by a student...

"Where is a person ?"

He answered...

"A person is where his will is !"

If we focus on the possibilities of peace it will unfold. What we can conceive we can achieve. i.e. Visualize - Verbalize - Actualize.

P.S. (Sorry about the $5 Motivational Tape contents of the last paragraph. Those tapes can come in handy some days...)
