Now the dems counteract by fogging about Karl Rove's remarks, which the White House defended. It's the same old, same old. When backed into a corner and losing the argument, apply ad hominem attacks. Karl Rove was picked because they had a two-fer. Announce that Rove is the brains behind GW (implying the Pres. is brainless), and that he's made hate-filled remarks about dem motives vis a vis their reaction to 9/11 and Muslim terrorists. Rove said the dems want to give them therapy and 'understanding', while we remember thousands of innocents brutally murdered. Karl spoke the truth, but who cares.

This is about hate for GW, getting him impeached, and us running home from Iraq with our tail between our legs a la Vietnam. The prize would be dems in power for the next 100 years. That we'd be blown up on Main St. USA on a regular basis doesn't matter, that the Middle East would be in ruins, democracy gone, a vanished dream -- what the heck. It'd be GW's fault. He'd be demonized forever, like Nixon.
