I'll file this one in the same category as I do with stories of meth, coke or junk addicts who OD.
Their own depraved activities have brought them to this point, and now they'll just have to suffer for it.
Boo hoo ~~ not.
I live in San Diego and this morning the local news had this story. They kept referring to the "victims" as women. First they said "transgendered women" then just women. I couldn't tell if they were women trying to be men or men trying to be women.
The local (San Diego) TV news report referred to the injectees as "patients" & "women".
TBL, we must have been watching the same report & had the same thoughts about it.
We are acquainted with just such a woman. He/she is a very kind, caring person. But seriously misguided. He/she 'shopped' around, going from psychiatrist to psychiatrist and doctor to doctor until he/she found just the ones willing to encourage him and help him with his transformation, over the concrete objections of previous doctors. It has been just over a year since his/her surgery. He's surprised to find that he's 'happy', but the feelings of depression or whatever haven't really gone away. Since his move across the country, I have little contact with him/her, but do hear info from his ex-wife, who clearly still cares for him. (But not the 'her' he's become.)
He has been coaxed into unreality, and he doesn't appear to be happy there. Which is often the selling point, once they are transgendered, they will be whole.
but the fact is that he is XY
As we learned from friends of our friend, some of the individuals are truly blurred, with chromosomes incompatible with their gender or other issues of biology. I truly feel sorry for those guys.
I'm sorry, I can't read the linked book right now.
Are you saying that Gay's ran Nazi germany?
ROFL! First time I've ever picked up a lisp while reading.
Like a big CSI episode, only with real people seriously harmed. CSI had an episode with transgender hopefuls getting 'surgery' in a storage unit.
No, we're supposed to "celebrate their diversity"! Or is it perversity?
And I absolutely and totally reject the fact that our tax dollars or health care premiums are paying for their emergency care!
