Islamic Group Calls for Use of Koran to Take Oath

Muslims make up a very small percentage of the American population. How a couple of percent of the population could force the rest of us to convert is beyond me.

It took only 19 muslims to inflict over 3000 deaths on 9/11.
Conversion was not offered.

Rush brought up this topic of Muslims in NC suing to use the Koran rather than the Bible when testifying in court. He was not impressed, to say the least.

When are the majority of Europeans going to realize that the only way to stop the Inquisition is to destroy Catholicism: churches, Catholics and Bibles. Catholicism is not a religion.

See how easily that's twisted? It's easy enough to find other examples in history. Let's replace "Europeans" with "Romans" and "Catholicism" with "Christianity." "Inquisition" can be restored to "terrorism," because that's what Christians were thought to be (equivalent to) then.

Allowing a muslim to swear on his holy text isn't going to either encourage him to tell lies or prevent him from telling lies. It also doesn't set any sort of precedent for mass conversion of Americans to Islam, either; it's just ignorant hysterical ranting to suggest otherwise.

Actually I don't understand why the use of any holy texts is allowed in courtroom proceedings anyway. America is supposed to have religious freedom, and that includes preventing the government from forcing unwanted religious practices on people who aren't interested. If a person wants to swear on his holy text, he ought be allowed to bring his own for this purpose, and the "affirmation" ought to be the default method for swearing in to testify.

As a parting thought, I leave you with this verse from the Bible, in Matthew 5:

33"Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.' 34But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

I admit it. You got me there. I was hoping that most people would not realize that Catholics were murdering rapists bent on imposing religious law on the entire world. I know that usually the Catholic Media machine, Al-Jesuseera, paints a wonderful picture of the Catholic faith that fools most of the world. But you are just way too smart.

I was watching the Inquisition live on C-Span last Sunday but I had to miss some of it because I had to attend mass at St. Francis the Decapitator Church. It's a great parish. We have a school where we teach the children to hate all other religions. We also instruct them in butchery, plastic explosives and suicide bombing. Every Sunday our pastor instructs us to go out and kill people of other religions. He also gives us money to buy bomb-making supplies and he films us when we are cutting off someones head. We view the videos during mass to get pumped up. After Sunday mass we usually have group activities. Last Sunday, nuns from the Sisters of St. Ann the Suicide Bomber led us on a rampage where we first started by joining forces with parishioners from a black parish. We went to a Methodist Church and slaughtered all of the Methodists as they were praying. After all of the Methodists were dead we decided to kill the black Catholics just because they are inferior. Then we joined with some Jews and attacked a mosque. No one was there but we urinated and defecated on the koran and all over inside the mosque. Since we didn't need the Jews any more we killed them also. We had lots of fun at the Pentecostal Church...we busted up plenty of guitars and drums, strangled those heathens with their own guitar strings and hung them out by the road for people to see. We plan on going after those Hari Krishnas next Sunday. What the hell is up with those guys wearing dresses? They look gay. Hey, I even have to admit that its nice to bugger little boys two or three times a week...but I'm not gay. After you bugger them a few times and split 'em open they get sort of "loose" so then they are only good to use for suicide bombing. Hey, my wife is just a filthy piece of trash that I own and she is only good to beat on and to make babies...the sex is not good and there are plenty of young boys to rape from the refugee camps.

Soon we plan to install our Grand Exalted Super Archbishop, Amgwana Kikbuti, as the President of the United States and we will require strict adherance to our religious law. You will either convert or pay tax or we will kill you. Actually, we kind of like it when you pay tax. That way we can have you around to abuse, you will work for us, you will pay us to stay alive....It's great...sort of like slavery only better...for us anyway.

Gee thanks for exposing us Catholics. It sort of feels good to get it off my chest...but now I'm going to have to send a suicide bomber your way.

Not really. The Bible holds lying to be wrong absolutely. The Koran doesn't. So as long as a witness testifies on the Koran, opposing counsel should read the section permitting lying to infidels to the court.
