No, the teachers didn't threaten to resign, but the Superintendant took that stand and the Union backed down - not the board.......... finally a school with some cajones stood up to threats by the teachers union.
I agree; it seems that the school board prevailed in this. If they didn't, the PSEA local would NOT have sent a letter such as this.
It appears the growth of vouchers and choice is bearing fruit. The teacher's union will collapse just the dimwit party.
