I believe Borneo was connected to the mainland until the end of the Ice Age.

I don't mean to go off topic on you, but I can't help myself. Speaking of land being connected until the end of the last ice age, I came across something that made a claim that portions of lands populated by Scandinavians were connected to Great Britain. While most maps show a whole lot of ice covering huge swaths of those areas, I wondered if it was possible in the parts that were not covered by ice. Do you know what we're talking about, with respect to the difference in land/water elevations?

Back to the article at hand....

The excavated pieces show evidence of pottery having been used as funerary gifts and burial jars.

Are we talking jars to hold cremated remains or are we talking some really big jars? If they didn't disintegrate in the humidity, they had to have been fired, right? Seems to me that kilns & rock tools would have to come from very different eras.

Niah Ceramics To Shed Light On Borneo's History

At first I thought this was going to be a hit piece on Fantasia Barrino.
