Shepard Smith is promising to show the end of the standoff on his News show, ..they will probably censor some of it though.

I knew I'd miss it, but I ate 3 shredded beef tacos, 2 chile rellanos (spell), 1 grilled pepper burrito and a pint of refried beans! I am finally NOT hungry.

Damn that is a load!!

I am sure there will be video of the end, circulating on the web within hours. Hope so anyway.

I strongly disapprove of using an attack dog on any unconvicted human being who is merely being arrested by police.

The bastard finally opens his car door after the tear gas or whatever, and is immediately set upon by a frenzied attack dog. Looked like the dog was having a good time...

Down here in Florida, there have been SEVERAL cases of police dogs attacking innocent bystanders rather than suspects. IMHO, they just can't be trusted.

So much for the appetizers, what's up for the main course?

It's a proven, needed tool. Being convicted our not is not an issue.

The bastard finally opens his car door after the tear gas or whatever, and is immediately set upon by a frenzied attack dog. Looked like the dog was having a good time...

The individual made it clear over a five hour period he was not going to give up. They flashed banged his vehicle and he still didn't exit, so the dog was sent in, not only to expedite the situation but to possibly save this guy from committing suicide.

Well. I strongly disapprove of dicking around for half a day with dealing with a very simple situation. Thirty minutes, tops, after they got him stoppd - git 'er done.

there have been SEVERAL cases of police dogs attacking innocent bystanders rather than suspects.

The dogs get confused. That's why you clear out other officers and bystanders before you deploy them.... if you can. The dogs will get excited sometimes, too. I've seen a dog who was given the "bark and hold" command go into attack mode anyway. Nevertheless, when the guy's potentially armed, and somebody has to get "up close and personal" with him, I'd rather the dog do it than put a human at risk.

Also reporters in choppers said the suspect wasn't moving when being put on a stretcher.

Lets see, flashed banged, possibly tasered, ripped up by German Shepard, and now "speculation" he shot himself before the dog got to him.

Dog day afternoon for this guy.

The man is a coward. Threatens to shoot himself and decides not to. What held him back?

Anyways, I hope he enjoys his newfound lenghty criminal record. Good luck trying to get credit or find a decent job, Loser.

It's Ernie's fault for posting M&M's to me... I've been sick and just drinking water. So I over ate and now I feel wonderful.

Thanks, I watch Shep's news coming up right now.

Thanks again everybody for making today so much fun.
