Florida's Katherine Harris to run for the Senate in 2006 Tuesday June 07, 2005
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Republican Rep. Katherine Harris, who as Florida's secretary of state was both praised and vilified for her part in the 2000 presidential recount, said Tuesday she will run for the Senate next year against Democrat Bill Nelson.

She should stay in the House........
I like Hugh Hewitt's idea of TOMMY FRANKS running in FL for the Senate!
There's gonna be some money raised in this race. :-)
Time to donate! This is great news! It will send the DU-ers off the deep end! Much knashing of teeth and wailing!
Works for me.
Ummm.... The rules?
Hot photos? I'm waiting.
I'll support Harris on this one. A couple of our other options are pro-abortion and/or pro-gay. And this'll finally end the "she's too polarizing"/"she's perfect and can do no wrong" back-and-forth.
I do believe Katherine Harris is included in the ANN COULTER rule.
PICS!!!
PS - Dumping Nelson and voting for Katherine is an easy choice! :-)
That pic of her on the horse (please post it someone) is my choice for campaign poster. Wow!!!
I gotta do everything around here??? :-)
Thank you!!!
:-)
That only works if it is Tommy Franks' idea ...
Rep. Harris is a viable candidate who can win.
Can she win statewide?
Some times you've got to wonder.
What the hell is Jeb Bush doing. Either Crist or Gallagher could easily beat Nelson (polls show them both winning), but they are instead going to have a nasty primary with each other.
What the hell? Why doesn't Jeb sit them down and get one of them to drop off.
Sometimes Jeb is great, but sometimes (2000) he's just gawd awful........
Works for me too.
So what do we think her chances are?
