I'd like to interview the aged parents of the council members who argued for and passed this nonsense. I think they didn't spank their children enough. Next, it will be illegal to spank children within the city limits and children will be dropping dimes on their parents.

Reminds me of an incident with my oldest boy. I walked into the house from work one evening and his was lipping off at my wife. I told him to knock it off and the next time he talked to his mother that way I would whip his butt. He told me I better not touch him his teacher had told him he had rights and if I touched him he would call the cops.

I gave him good reason to make the call, but he never did. First and last time I had to spank him.
