Yes, thank goodness for TM.
It is so easy to get into altercations on other boards, that I will tell you. I am not even talking about DU, unfortunately. There are many regular folks who buy how the general media and certain Congressional members portray the war on terror and in Iraq. Oh, and they hate GWB, too. So everything they write and interpret is erroneously colored through these lenses. It is such a shame.
I never thought of these boards as political boards until fairly recently, too. The hate is heavy in the air now. The media and ted kennedy and others do what they can to fan the flames of hatred. They made it a war against GWB, Halliburton and Cheney rather than against islamic killers who wish to kill us.

Just musing.
Today I caught part of someone's remark on FOX. He said something about how unusual it was for this to happen with no chatter. (Of course, whether or not there was chatter is something to be learned later.)
BUT, if there was no chatter and London was caught completely off guard, what are the chances of having an terrorist operative inside the British Government/Scotland Yard/SIS?

Anyone have a guage on the chatter level, then and now?

Same here, my latest discovery is how many MSM are on the boards.
