If you think the notwithstanding clause will be used in this case, you're smoking something.

When in danger,
Or in doubt,
Run in circles,
Scream and shout.

If slagging people merely because they don't see the point of wasting energy on what is a done deal turns your crank, have at it, Sunshine.

But don't presume to call me names.

The notwithstanding clause has been used precisely once. It was used by the Provincial government of Quebec, that government that complained so bitterly that the people of Quebec were somehow "unrepresented" in repatriation. The people of Quebec who were perfectly well represented by their MPs. I'm not buying the "unrepresented" party line. They used it to get Bill 101 past the courts, to make it legal to discriminate against English speakers.

Grow up.

"Grow up."

??????? - Seemingly, it's pretty apparent from the thread who started with the profanity, defeatism and activist judge worshiping.
Keep it up newbie and you won't last long around here.

BTW, "Observer of Life" - your screen name pretty much describes a spy doesn't it?
