PORN star Mary Carey (above) is set to spice up the National Republican Congressional Committee's "Salute to Freedom" dinner with President Bush next month. The former fringe candidate for California governor and star of "Lesbian Big Boob Bangeroo 2" and "Thumpin' Melons" will be the guest of her boss, Kick Ass Pictures president Mark Kulkis, an honorary chairman of the NRCC's Business Advisory Council. The prurient pair will also attend a lunch with top Bush advisor Karl Rove, who Carey hopes will give her tips on her planned run for California lieutenant governor next year.

Seriously, I don't know if this is true or not. It would be really strange if it was. Then again, as many times as Mary has been on Hannity & Colmes, maybe it's not so strange. You'd have to think Rove would get flack for a meeting so out in the open.

I am not opposed to her going, but I do see a huge conflict when an administration that has decided to fight porn names a porn producer an honorary member of a small business committee.

I doubt the veracity of this claim. I find it hard to believe that Rove would do this but oh well. It's not shocking anymore. Porn is mainstream.
