Benedict McVain doesnt give two shakes what any of us feel. He's lapping it up at DU and Kos. If he didnt serve his country as an POW I'd say deport him

Why Bother? The fool thinks the MSM can carry him to victory in '08. Let him live in his delusional state. Then position a camera on his face the night of primary election returns. I will record that tape for posterity.

Why is John McCain always grinning like a mule eating cockleburs?Either a severe chemical imbalance or he's hearing voices no one else can.

What I really think is that he is a traitor to our country. He is another Spector or Lott, doing all the damage he can. I also believe he knows what he is doing. In other words, he sold his soul.

I'm afraid I'll have to call you on that point. He was a POW and EARNED every promotion and award that he got in/from Vietnam. As a Senior Ranking Officer in the POW camp he comported himself most admirably and valorously. Pick on his politics and ego as a politician, (Lord knows I and many Vets do) but please, not his patriotism by stooping to DU level calling him a traitor.

Those pics are great. Now if someone could locate one of Humphry Bogart in the Navy. Strawberries and all.

He didn't serve as a POW! He f'ed up and crashed an aircraft. He got captured and spent some, reportedly, cushy time in the Hanoi Hilton. To my knowledge he never pulled the trigger at the enemy. There are lots of VERY credible stories about his actions while there.
I wouldn't trust the crazy SOB as far as I can throw him!

Yes! I thank him for his service to our country, As far as his senate service is concerned, he needs to be sent home.

Knock him as a senator, but you're dead wrong about him serving "cushy time" as a POW.
