Tied things up nicely. Recommend it. The rumor I'm hearing is that there will be three more... same thing I heard around the time the third in the first batch opened.
I took the kids to see this new one today. I noticed it was very long. It was okay. But that Anakin kid is a horrid actor. Lots of light saber action and such, flying spacecrafts, Yoda, Wookies.

Roger Ebert thinks Episodes VII, VIII, and IX will be made.

Originally Lucas wrote the script for 9 movies, but he has claimed he's not doing anymore.
Being a Star Wars Uber-geek, I can tell you I won't be saddened if he doesn't make them. The story after episode 6 goes downhill a bit. Luke and Leia are Jedi Masters, Han Solo and Leia are married and their kids are Jedi's, there's even a Wookie Jedi. The story follows them tracking down the last of the Empire and rebuilding the Republic. One interesting thing, one of the new Sith Lords is a woman. I'm just not sure how much you could do with it.
I told you I was an Uber-geek.

Episodes 4, 5 and 6 were to be Empire overcome by the Rebellion.
Episodes 1, 2 and 3 were to be the formation and early days of the Empire.
Episodes 7, 8 and 9 were to be the further adventures of Luke and his buddies with the backdrop of the attempted re-rise of the Empire.

Where? I highly doubt it. GL is developing, writing and directing a live action TV series. Its to take place bet 3 and 4. GL will write and direct the first season and then turn it over to someone else after that.
