Even worse, why do our own citizens sympathize with them? I'd pay for a one-way ticket to a Muslim country for one of the loudmouth whiners.

I am with you on this! It absolutly amazes me that any person of good conciense would - or could - sympathize with these barbarians!

It is unbelievable to me how utterly blind these people are. Dothey not remember September 11, 2001? Do they need more convincing that these people, these Islamic fascists, want us ALL dead? Do they believe that by showing them sypathy they somehow become immune to the threat they pose? Are they truly that ignorant or are they just plain stupid?

Never before in my life have ai felt so strongly about an issue. This is the most vital issue in our history and if the free world doesn't wake up soon and accept the truth about what it is these monsters are seeking, then I fear it will be too late for all of us.

I won't go down without a fight, but seeing the general apathy and ignorance about it all does not encourage me to believe that it's a battle we will win...

You make a good point and a good point for dispersing all our financial and governmental functions to different and smaller centers with fewer critical people in each location. With phones, video and internet connections how important is "face time" and everyone being in the same place all the time? It's no longer necessary.

Personally I don't think all the congress and senate should be in the same buildings at the same time.

I don't think the VP should even be in DC at the same time as the POTUS.

How about putting some functions in say, Kansas or the Dakotas for example?

Yeah I guess your right, that was the plan, bring down the money and the leadership at Washington. Well if they hit NYC again, they`ll be killing Muslims also because there is one hell of a lot of them who live here as well. Too bad we can`t move Wall street to the top of Michael Moores fat head, or maybe we can lie and say Bush now resides fulltime in Paris.

Why is this going on in one of our "allies" countries?

When I was in England last year, I would look out my bedroom window near Manchester and everyday at the same time, a Pakistani Airlines 747 would be landing at Manchester airport with another load of Pakistanis "immigrating" to the UK. I'm sure they were all good peace loving Christians too.

You bet he knew that. Right after Sept. 11th - the month after the attack I lost my job in an investment banking firm I was working at here in NYC. I was out of work for a whole year and lost my apartment and car and got in $70,000 in debt due to having to live off my credit cards. Osama Bin Laden did a number on me and scores of NYers and people across this country BIG TIME! I blame that man directly for my financial situation at the time. Thank god Bush is our president - he got us back up and running and after a year I was able to find a job and am now paying back my debt which is in condsolidation.

I am a supposed to be a liberal, but I have joined this forum because I am willing to listen to and hear and understand someone else's viewpoint. With that being said I sense a lot of hate in these posts. Basically everyone here wants to kill all Muslims it seems. Do you people realize the Muslims who are perpetrating these attacks are extremists? An extremist of any religion takes what their holy book says to the most literal sense. Muslim, Christian, Jewish and other extremists have killed and will kill for their beliefs. Do you also understand that if you kill all Muslims you would kill blacks, Middle Easterners, Asians, Latinos, AND whites? I know many middle eastern muslims and they say the extremists use our hate as a reason to strengthen their views. If we say kill all Muslims- why wouldn't they say kill the infidels (Christians) We can only hope that enough extremists are done away to establish a democratic region in the backwards countries of the Middle East. As a liberal I have no problem with bombing our threats- but to preach destruction of an entire religion that has been around thousands of years is ludicrous and assinine. Any true Christian (which I am) disagrees with but can live with Islam, and any other religion. Any true Muslim disagrees with but can live with Christianity- in fact most if not all Muslims can quote the Bible better than most so-called Christians. Don't hate all Muslims (the Bible doesn't preach hate) that's what the extremists want us to do. And before you cast me off as a liberal commie hippie- I am a college student in CA and I've come to realize conservatives hate me- and liberals can't stand me- because i state the facts.

I think it is always noble to strive for reason in any debate or argument. I agree that no one should use such broad strokes. As a Christian, it is my understanding that using the word "vermin" for human beings cannot be acceptable by God since the promise of grace is available to everyone while they still breathe. Whether they ever take God up on His grace through Jesus is another matter...

That being said, the frightening thing about Muslims is there is very little discernable difference between the "moderate" Muslim and the extremist. I say that because the "moderate" voice of Islam - if it exists - has been eerily quiet in the light of all the atrocities performed in the name of Allah's greatness. There was a great article out today, but those are too far in between. I doubt anyone would have called the hijackers on 9-11 extremists while they lived and worked around them prior to the attack.

I agree with you - if we hate, we have fallen in a spiritual trap. I just think people who post here are so frustrated by the apologists (as am I) that their passions overflow into the posts... My general rule is not to write something that I am not willing to say face to face or in a crowd...

We tolerate the antics of the Middle East muzlims because we are civilized and educated enough to realize that when a people perceive themselves to be inferior, that feeling leads to violent hatred and envy of those whom they believe to be superior.

When they look at CNN and them look around their own country they must realize that they have not advanced very much in the last 2000 years. Everything in the muzlim world that is civilized or modern came from outside the country.

The Politically Correct call these unfortunate nations "underdeveloped." I call them backward.

Their backwardness is caused, I think, by fundalmental religious doctrins, a lack of knowledge of basic economics, a failure to accept any change and a lack of understanding of the need for cultural, economic, and social institutions free of government control.

What concerns me most is that many of these protester are second and third generation Brits. England can’t deport them and guess what? They don’t even need a US visa to get on a plane and come here, just a valid British passport.

If we say kill all Muslims- why wouldn't they say kill the infidels (Christians)

The "they" you speak of have been saying kill the infidels from the start of their "religion".

It is a doctrine of Islam. It is, by their stated belief, the very word of "allah", their god (please don't tell me that "allah" means "god" in arabic. It does NOT. The arabic word for "god" is in fact, "illah". "Allah" is the NAME of their illah). Muslims believe the Qu'ran to be the very word of their god, "Allah" as recited to Muhammed through the arch-angel Gabriel.

I do not hate Muslims but I do reject and loathe their "religion", Islam. I have spent a lot of time studying it and its history. I am still learning. The more I learn the more I see it for what it is. A total fraud and a cult of death for those who follow it as it is meant to be followed.

Make no mistake. It is the so-called "extremists" who are following Islam as it is meant to be followed. It is the so-called "extremists" who are in fact "good" muslims.

This is not a statement of hate. It is a statement of fact.

Get yourself educated about Islam. Read it for yourself. Their own "holy" books, the Qu'ran and Hadiths (do you know that without the Hadiths the Qur'an is unintelligable and makes no sense whatsoever?) say that jihad (holy war) is a duty. They say to kill all infidels. They say that all infidels are guaranteed a place in hell. They say that it is acceptable to kill for money and to lie in the name of Islam. They say that their god, "allah" oversees and metes out the punishments in hell and that this gives "allah" great enjoyment. Look for yourself and you will see all of this.

It is an honorable thing to look for the best in people and to give the benefit of the doubt. I have been taken advantage of many times in my life because I tend to do this - and I am OK with that. The one thing I will not be taken in by is the farce that the so-called extremist Muslims are anything but evil and that they are the true face of this "religion".

Open your eyes. One need not hate to understand. As I said, I don't hate Muslims. Not even the ones you and the apologists call the extremists. I pray for their souls to be made aware of what it is they have fallen for.
