To call a blacvk woman a closet member of the KKK is ludicrous. Oh come on. You should know by now that any African-American who holds conservative views isn't really black.

As liberal as California is, if 76% think she is good enough for their Supreme Court, she is good enough of the SCOTUS. I know we bring up the % of the vote she got as an argument that she's not out of the mainstream, but I don't think it's a particularly convincing piece of evidence. All of the CA judges got over 70%. I don't think the average voter knows a darned thing about the judges they vote to retain. They just pull the "YES" lever, unless they have a specific reason not to.
