Wave of suicides among I would assume death row inmates? Is that a bad thing?

Actually, I have read that amongst the general population, the death penalty has majority support all across Europe. It's just that they have the same socialist/leftist anti democratic "we know best" so-called elites we have entrenched as rulers and it is they that prevent it.
