Lugar is telling everyone that President Bush, having won the election has the right to name who he wants to his cabinet.
BTW, they are on quorum call on C-span 2----they should picture-in-picture this while they are in any quorum call today!

Bolton will go to the UN to reform the institution.
If he is successful, the credibility of the UN may improve with the US population.

A lot of people worked tirelessly to investigate allegations brought up at the last meeting.
All of these allegations have been proven unsubstantiated.

The good news about only being able to listen to it is, you don't have to look at Biden's cheesy grin!!!
Lugar is now telling everyone that the people that are holding this up and pressing for more and more interviews are senators who never have intended to vote for Bolton anyway. So basically Lugar is saying that Biden and buds have been wasting time and money because they wouldn't vote for Bolton, no matter what.

I actually expect this to be noisily interesting...I'm sure you're right. The liberal newspapers have been saying this nomination was about Bush's foreign policy.

The common lie of the hearing will be that Bolton lied about intelligence reports. He "doctored" them. This is a phoney false lie. The democrats will nonetheless repeat this lie.

So can we nickname Biden and buds "France"?

The democrats will profess outrage at anyone who dare criticize the UN. The UN is their pagan God.
