I remember years ago hearing that Emanuel was a bagboy for the Chicago mob.
However, is it even possible for a Democrat politician to get convicted of anything in Illinois?

Unless you step on Democrat toes bigger than your own, my guess is you can get away with anything.
Hopefully, the Feds see it differently.
