Dick Morris says "significant chance" Rosen will flip on Hillary
Hannity radio | 5-10-05 | dfu

Dick Morris just did an excellent job explaining the David Rosen/Hillary fundraising felony problems. He had also done a good job this morning with Tony Snow.

What was behind the lies to the FEC? Had they told the truth, it would have cost about $800,000 in hard money. Hillary couldn't afford that. Because of her soft money agreement with Rick Lazio, she desperately needed that hard money for the final weeks of the campaign.

Morris believes that because of the Ray Reggie wire and other witnesses, Rosen is probably now realizing he is in great legal jeopardy. He believes there is a "significant chance" that Rosen will flip on Hillary and tell the Feds about her involvement.

Morris will be on Hannity and Colmes later this evening.

In the John Hughes movie, "The Breakfast Club", there is a scene in there that is sooooo Clinton. Remember when the teacher is done impressing the kids with his status, gets bored, and goes for a walk to the basement file room and begins eyeing the confidential student records. Then Carl the janitor walks in on him and the teacher begins to squirm and then realizing his peril, attempts to make nice with the subordinate who could cause him troube. When Carl is asked by the teacher what it would take to keep this between just the two of them, Carl responds with a demand for $50. Later they celebrate their exclusivicity over a couple beers. That's exactly the MO for the Clintons. Do whatever you want but surround yourself with people who will be bought off for nothing.

If there's a division in the Democratic party about Hillary as their presidential candidate, scandals won't help her nomination by her party.. I don't think we should regurgitate her and Bill's White House messes, but certainly controversies during her Senate terms can help us immensely.

IMHO

Those FBI files are now 10 years old.

If they have pictures of things like Trent Lott french kissing a cheerleader(which would explain much), does it matter how old they are?

Obscurity is feared by Clintons more than controversy. Hell, they love controversy. It's free campaign advertisements. They have no shame.

Today's WASHINGTON (COM)POST --

An FBI agent's 2002 affidavit said the costs of the gala were deliberately understated "to increase the amount of funds available to New York Senate 2000 for federal campaign activities." However, Justice Department officials recently said they need not prove a possible motive by Rosen.

Exactly why we need turnover in employees we've sent to Washington. It's in the Clintons best interest to get as many cheerleeder kissing, prostitute house operating, intern fondling, bribe taking old political dinosaurs around as long as possible. Elect anyone with a set of balls and a post 1994 FBI file start date.

I get your point there. Maybe I'm being too naive, but I see a point in the damage scandals can do.

In three years ya'll can say "I told you so" but I hope not.

Another thought is that if she is vulnerable over this particular scandal, we should continue to hit her vulnerability with other pressures. She's not disciplined enough not to slip up when she's cornered.

"Do whatever you want but surround yourself with people who will be bought off for nothing."

Lately he's been with both 41 and 43 more than Barbara so are you suggesting the Clinton's have their dirty FBI files also? I'm not buying it. If someone has evidence of wrong doing put it all out on the table, don't say I would but they've seen my dirt in my FBI files. If that's your defense your dirt must be worse than anything you have on them.

I wish you were right but there is NO CHANCE IN HELL that will happen. Take a look at Web Hubbell and what he did for the Clintons. He went to PRISON for them and they didn't even give him a pardon even though they gave HUNDREDS of them before they left.

The Clinton know too much about their "friends" to ever have them turn on them. It's a spider web that never lets go.

Mr. Rosen:
Come clean quick. You are then protected against Arkancide.

Otherwise, Teflon rules

It wasn't Klayman - I didn't recognize the name but Sean identified him as the new "head honcho" at Judicial Watch.
