I doubt that there's any law under which he could be prosecuted. I sure would like to know who he is, though...
If You can find him I will talk to him. I am a one legged former Marine and I will have a come to the Lord talk with this piece of human detrius. Mr Stumpy

He can be prosecuted.
Some teens recently found that out.

And, a web forum I was a member of many years ago had a slime posting troll much like this one.
They had their internet access permanently taken away through legal means.
The catch was that we had to document their pattern of behavior, and show a pattern of harassment and stalking.
Took two months, but it worked.
Then that forum tanked.

This has been happening long enough that we should be able to ddocument patternss.

It'd be easier if there were some IP addies to run down.
But the mods have that.
I somehow suspect they're holding out for a royal flush, which they will eventually get, but I was never good at poker.
Patience in this sort of matter is not my long suit.

I've said already I noticed lots of Sitemeter hits to my blog coming in from FR and followed them back. I know exactly where you're coming from. I also look at the HTTP_REFERRER stats to see where traffic is coming from, and I can see where images hosted on my server have been hotlinked on other sites. Then I may visit that site to see if I approve of them lifting my graphics.
However you did make the claim that you swapped images that FReepers were hotlinking on your server with the same porn that was being spammed by the troll under discussion.
The troll did not hotlink your server. The troll hotlinked rotten.com and consumptionjunction.com.

Heck yeah.
The difference between that forum and this one, your ip addy showed up under your posts.
That made it leaps and bounds easier on us, especially since we were unmoderated.
The mods here have access to the IP addy info.
Eventually, like a high stakes card game, they will have a royal flush while our troll thinks he's playing go fish.

I am a detective by trade. Let me know if I can help. I can determine anything about anyone..
I want to be just like you. Really I do. Found that a shampoo kit had been yanked off the market was still being sold. I was elated to make the discovery; my shampoo-kit-buying sister was not. But, looks like she can get the money back. Something about going after the "bad guys" has so much allure. Plus, it reminds me of the old detective movies! Think I'll go dress up like Lauren Bacall or Bette Davis or someone like that!
Go, Laz, go...if I can help, too, let me know. But, I'll need to find a hat with a veil and some old style Max Factor cosmetics first so give me a heads up, m'kay?
