You seriously can't believe that the Crusaders were saints or that their actions were in anyway pure. They were barbaric times and the Europeans were barbarians. The crusaders were given complete absolution by the Church so they believed that no action was a sin. They acted accordingly. There were atrocities committed by the Crusaders against Christian, Jewish and Muslim women, children and noncombatants. In other words they acted like they did back in Europe.

Certainly true. But, the Muslims weren't exactly nice either.
Both sides had their faults.
If this movie shows that, I will see it.
