heh.....On race day, I'll pick my 'favorite' watching them go to the gate. 'Course, by then, it's too late to place any bets. LOL.

Way back when, I used to make a tidy sum, by betting on the horses. OTB. (sigh) They don't have that in OH.

Me too, sometimes! I've never actually bet on a race. I don't really follow racing that much, 'cept Triple Crown races... If you ask me how I'd run it, I wish these horses were all a year older.
