I'm one who favors tight border security (the southern AND northern borders), but without the use of the military, the crucifixion of any and all businesses who employ illegals, halting our ridiculous "catch and release" system, and the immediate deportation of any and all illegals caught by local and State law enforcement. That's where I personally stand on this issue.

However, this subject can't be reasonably discussed on Free Republic. That's the lay of the land. So I avoid it if I can. Both sides are so over the top in their rhetoric, it hurts.

I think so too, the GOP has pissed off entirely to many conservatives. Conservatives are looking to either defeat in the primaries liberals like Bush or failing that voting third party in the general election.
