KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee offensive tackle Michael Munoz decided to quit football after he was not chosen in the NFL draft over the weekend, his father, NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz said Monday.
The All-American started 46 games in his career despite injuries, including a torn rotator cuff that ended his senior year before the Southeastern Conference championship game in December.

I need that. I was 10 in 1986. I was born and live for the Giants. That linebacking core was one of the finest in history. And who knows who Gary Reasons is anymore? Is that available online? Although, Hary Carson seems to be standing like a girly-man. But I still need it.
He completed them and earned his degree in less then four years and started work on his Master's degree. Funny, he won a award for the nation's top scholar-athlete. Pretty impressive given his skipping all his classes in preparation for the multi-million dollar contract. His wife is graduating with a degree in Nursing in May. Those "pesky" scholar-athletes, they just keep on graduating at a higher rate than the general student-body. Damn; student-athletes.
Gary Reasons is currently the head coach of the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (Arena League Football)
I had no idea. I did find the statuette on line through the danbury mint. 160 bucks. ouch. maybe next x-mas. thanks.
Good point. In college "student-athletes" always got first crack to sign up for classes. The one semester I qualified, I took a wine tasting class and a "wellness" class where all we had to do is write a daily journal. Pretty easy to do well in those.
Ok FReepers I'm throwing the yellow flag on many of you for piling on Senor Logic and Reason.
That'll be 15 yards and a loss of a post.
Actually, I knew Maurice Deshazo and he was a nice kid. Had a cup of coffee in the Canadian leagues after he didn't make the NFL, IIRC, then settled down in sales thereafter. All things considered, I don't think a productive career in sales is all that bad for a guy who was looking to work his way out of a tight spot growing up...
LOL. Although they got the players arranged incorrectly, it looks like everything else about them is correct -- especially their sizes relative to each other. Carson was the shortest of the four, and Banks was tall in comparison to Taylor, and with longer arms.
