She had to call outside the clinic for help
Of course, real doctors and nurses stay away from those kinds of places.

Please do not ever work with Pro life organizations dealing with women like this, you seem to not have compassion. Most of these women need understanding and compassion after they make this horrible mistake. Most of the women that I have met that are activists in the pro-life movement have had an abortion and will never get over the ache. They are trying to see that this horrible procedure is eliminated from our Society. There is too much work to be done and people to convince as well as help to let negativity mess up the progress we have made.

My prayers to you and yours, I have been so very, very blessed not have suffered that kind if loss.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for a 30-something woman who has other children- you can't convince that she did not know that she was carrying a baby inside her. At 22 weeks, it would have been moving around and kicking her, how any woman could walk into an abortion critic and have her child executed I will never understand.

I would hazard to guess that the reason that the clinic workers refused to call is that this type of thing is "business as usual." A mother would have to be awfully cold to look at a newborn like this and be able to justify it being just "a lump of tissue."

"I have no sympathy for the mother.
She got exactly what she asked for. Hope it haunts her for the rest of her life."
I agree with you completely. I consider myself a pretty tough guy, but had to stop reading the article before even getting halfway through because I was about the cry like a baby. Not out of sympathy for the mother, but for the baby she helped murder.

excuse me everyone, while I go wake my daughter up early from her nap to give her a hug. By far the saddest story I have ever read.
To: msp2004
I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll include you in my prayers tonight.
To: Skooz; All
They are murderers. No, you're being too charitable. A mafioso can murder someone for a reason.
What these people do is beyond cruel, it's beyond bloodsport, it's beyond thuggery. It's beyond greedy. Can't think of any word suitable.

Having lost a baby at 6 weeks, I feel for you. Let me assure you, though, that God is still in control. He will work through your pain to accomplish His will. It is at times like this that I hold on to Romans 8:28:And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. No, I'm not saying that your daughter's death was good, but if you trust that it will eventually work for good, on God's own timing, it will help you through this time. I've been there so I can speak. God's love will cover you and strengthen you in ways you cannot imagine. I like to call it "letting God put His arms around your shoulders".

This premee probably had a better than 70% chance of survival had he been born in a hospital.

It's only "choice" if it's the choice to kill. Notice how much support there was of her choice to try and save her living child!

This can't be true. Abortions don't have anything to do with children. They only affect unwanted tissue.
That's what we have been told anyway. Surely they wouldn't lie to us.

There was a thread yesterday about a 1999 Federal law that stated that clinics had to assist with babies that were aborted but lived.
Wouldn't that law apply to this case?

Seems like two different stories. One says he was in a toilet drowning....and one wonders why the mother didn't pull him out; and then this story about mom screaming for help in a room, and no mention of a toilet.
I am sad that a mother of two children, did not know that she was killing a baby, when going in for a 23 week old abortion.
