WERE is right! Lots of pretty old homes, especially off Main Street. Now it's Tijuana norte.
Many people who left Santa Ana had a hard time selling their homes because no one wanted to buy into that gangland area with all the shooting going on. They rented their places instead, and now their places have been trashed.
