As I recall, Kerry kinda liked that response.
It is telling that the only thing that the left can glean from Christianity is some flawed connection to socialism.
What an amazing read. In many ways, it's as good as than Clinton's 1992 nomination acceptance speech at the '92 DNC convention. The only thing that would make this one better is if Kerry had said it in a more public setting, like on national television, as Clinton's "we're sick of hearing about family values" statement was.
