We have an old duck who wanted to be a mother sooo bad she got broody over a chicken egg. She sat on it until it hatched.
She was so proud to be a new mom. No one could get near her funny looking baby.
Too bad though. She tried to teach it to swim. I suppose you can guess the rest of the story.

In 1995 I was a handyman at the Motel Six in Amarillo Texas. I remember it like it was yesterday.
John Kerry saw it, but he can't say anything, because he was on a secret mission for the CIA. That was Christmas of 95, right? Seared in his memory, it is. Just like it was yesterday. All those fireworks going off; the celebrating; the river; wounded, crawling across the battlefield as the enemy fire roared overhead; a butt filled with rice that exploded; another purple heart within reach....

Brett66,
Saw Elvis?? Sorry I think I have you beat, I know for a fact he bagged some groceries for me on a summer trip to Kalamazoo 2 years ago...:)

If only that time machine worked, Napolean's uncle would've been more successful in life. The look on Napoleans brothers face when he pluged it in the socket, reminded me of my older brother! He used to do all sorts of dirty tricks to hurt me. :D
