In the day's most horrific revelation, a Vallejo police detective testified that a prison informant said Curtis Dean Anderson bragged that he had videotaped himself . . .

Just damn. Was this guy on a Megan's Law website? Probably not. Imo, the dangerous ones don't get caught until it's too late.

You may recall this crime from the news and I have talked about it.
The article does not tell it all.
The killer had the second girl in his car, chained in the back, while he went to her home and joined the searchers and took fliers to pass out (he said).
I heard the trucker's interview on KGO, he said that the girl came in his window, he was slow and parking at a loading dock.
She came in the window, yelling "GO, GO, HE WILL KILL US, GO".
The trucker did so and the killer chased the truck in his car, until the Police managed to find them and stop him.
I am so glad the trucker had a cell phone.
At the time that I was following this story in the news, we had an attempt to pick up a girl at the bus stop a block from my place. ( I am near Kingman, Arizona).
There were 2 missing 8 year olds in Nevada and one 14 year old in Denver, who looked 8 years old, she was taken from her families Mexican Cafe.......
There were at least 2 other girls in California, but I could not get the reports for them, and was not on the Internet.
I followed every word on the radio's and listen to all the different states news on the radio at night.
It is my opinion that this killer killed all the girls.
When he was arrested, there were gas receipts showing that the killer had been in Las Vegas, at the time of the missing girl there.
I think this is the same man, who had served time in prison, with the boyfriend of the mother of the first girl. I do not
remember if the prison time was for molesting children.
For some reason, this case and the connections, stuck with me, as it happened and in the aftermath.
I still give God thanks for a trucker in the right place and smart enough to get that child away.
That the trucker was brave, yes, but he said in one interview, "She came thru the window and was yelling that she had been kidnapped, all I could think was "Man, here you are on a dark street, with a kidnapped child in your truck".

Yeah, this guy is probably a serial killer, a real preditor. He needs to be put down for good.

This is California. He'll die of old age, whether he gets the DP or not. He may even be put back on the streets again.

Your probably right about that. Like Arthur Shawcross in New York.

Especially when you have bleeding heart judges who release them when they should have been put in jail.
