Hey brother, I don't mean to be a bible thumper but if we {as a society} would follow the "rules", these things would cease to exist. Anyone who kills/ molests a child deserves the ultimate penalty.

So these offenders are registered. What is actually keeping them at the address they are registered at? NOTHING. They provide an address, big deal. They are registered, big deal. These registered offenders will commit these brutal crimes again.

Child porn should be banned and prosecuted to the hilt.

Hardly a week goes by that we don't have a posting right here on FR about someone getting nailed for having it.

No, the death penalty is a wrong punishment for all offenses but murder. Otherwise, the criminal will kill his victims, having nothing to lose.

As one talking head just said....we track library books better than these killers of children.

That is sure true. Our mortgage company is notorious for paying our taxes late. The sheriff is quick to publish our names on the list of late payers. I wonder how much squawking would go on if he published the names and addresses of all the sex offenders in the county.

... But any woman who is single and has children would be well advised to have a background check done on any one they plan to date....

Any non-custodial parent should do a background check on the ex's boy/girlfriend. Especially if they're moving into the house.

I did. It doesn't cost very much.

In the Jetseta Gage case her mother dated the perp's brother, who is still awaiting trial on charges of abusing Jetseta.

Unfortunately, she failed to protect her daughter, IMO.

"I think this verse works best Numbers36, v 31
Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death."

Oh no... but you can't site the Bible in our courts of law.
Why the black-robed tyrants only let you swear on it but not to consult it's wisdom. For that would only 'taint' your decision and deem it invalid.

Didn't some black-robed idiot somewhere recently throw out a death sentence verdict by a jury simply because they consulted the Bible for direction? What hypocrisy!
Thats why we need judges who are not short-sighted, arrogant bigots and open to the Wisdom of the Almighty God. We have had leftist influence of judges for decades now and look how messed up our society has become. This country will be better off with believing Christians and Orthodox Jews at all levels of government. We already have a Theocracy in place...of godless, secular leftists and the Church of the ACLU. Open your eyes America or be ruled by ruthless tyrants.

Well, yes, but you were advocating execution of non-murdering sex offenders. That was what I was responding to.

while we cannot impose ex-post-facto penalties on those who are already convicted, I would very much like to see Florida (an all other states) wake up to the fact that pedophiles and rapists cannot be "reformed" and must never be allowed to drop off the scope if/when they are released from prison.

Not at all, I was advocating and encouraging the public execution of rats like the one that murdered this little girl.

David Lee Onstott charged with murder of Sarah Lunde
Sunday, April 17, 2005
David Lee Onstott confessed to Sarah Lunde's murder Saturday night.
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said David Lee Onstott has been charged with the first degree murder of Sarah Lunde.

Speaking at a Sunday afternoon news conference, Gee said Onstott confessed to the crime Saturday night.

Onstott, 36, was arrested on unrelated charges earlier in the investigation but was considered a person of interest.

The charging document alleges Onstott entered Lunde's Ruskin home April 10 between midnight and 5 a.m., looking for Lunde's mother, Kelly May, with whom Onstott had a previous relationship.

After entering the residence, Onstott and Lunde got into an argument and Onstott put Lunde in a choke hold that caused her to lose consciousness causing her death.

Lunde's brother, Andrew Lunde, returned home April 11 at 4 a.m. to discover Lunde was missing. Her partially clad body was found Saturday morning in a pond about a half-mile from Lunde's home.

Gee did not release other details of Onstott's confession, but said other charges against Onstott are being reviewed.

Onstott will make his first court appearance regarding the case Monday.

(snip)

The Ninth Circuit in SF just threw out that sentence, who else would it be? And as far as needing judges-until the REAL judge shows up--we have to fight these twisted "judges" we have now,...no argument from me, my friend!
