"aimed at sabotaging"
So now opposing a political candidate is considered sabotage?
I guess all those dems tried to sabotage W's re-election bid.

Ed Klein had better watch his back. And he had certainly better stay out of Fort Marcy Park.

Senior Republican activists have launched two high-profile campaigns aimed at sabotaging Senator Hillary Clinton's hopes of an elected return to the White House - even though the next presidential contest is three and a half years away. Hillary Rodham has been positioning herself for the Presidency since see hooked up with Bill eventhough the presidential contest was over 20 years away.

and the impeachment proceedings over Monica Lewinsky, the former White House intern. And I thought all this time that the impeachment was about perjury and obstruction of justice.

My only fear is that they are starting this too early. Even if every bad thing came out about her in the book, the liberals will call it lies and she will have 3 years to recover and 'correct' those lies.

I think Al Gore and Kerry are running again. Clinton may want VP, from where she could go for Uno after 4 or 8 years.

Careful now....squeaky wheel gets the oil per se !
She's already running as a victim IMO. Lets not do this cunning little runt any favors with nothing less than facts and physical evidence. This nation won't survive a Clintonista regime again.

If the Republicans are seriously worried about Hillary in the WH, they are in bad shape.

In the other fundraising initiative, Arthur Finkelstein - a veteran, if reclusive, Republican strategist - is canvassing donors for a new advocacy group, "Stop Her Now", which aims to raise $10 million to fund advertising and media assaults on the New York senator.
Translation: Hillary is still good for a few fundraising bucks.

So why, I would like to know, has (Republican) George Bush lately been helping Bill Clinton rehabilitate his image? The name Bill Clinton should be reviled as a traitor and destroyer boll weevil, like that of Benedict Arnold. I will never understand the country club Republican mentality.

but in the fourth quarter the GOP will choke.

Cattle futures?
Vince Foster?
Craig Livingstone?
Juanita Broaderick?
Monica Lewinsky?
Ron Brown?
Socialized healthcare?
Billing records?
Eleanor Roosevelt?
How this lady, and her supporters, think that she could become President with all of the baggage that she carries, is unbelievable. But then again, Ted is still a senator after Chapaquiddick. Sheets is still a senator after his midnight rides. Barney is still a senator after his lover was found to have a boys ring in the basement. Patty is still a senator after proclaiming Osama a hero.
I guess anything is possible as we allow illegal aliens, convicted felons, and dead people to vote.......

Regarding this gem from the article:
"Mr Clinton said: "Either this guy believes his party is not serious and he's totally Machiavellian, or he may be blinded by self-loathing."
Clinton is surely a world-class authority on subterfuge, disingenuineness, Machiavellian tactics, and self-loathing.

we could have pinned 9-11 on the Clinton's. Eight years of his stewardship of the nation's military and intelligence apparatus led directly to 9-11, 7 months after he left office. we didn't, instead we sought "unity" after 9-11 only to see the Dems trying to blame it on Bush and Rice a couple of years later. Even after seeing this, we still let Sandy Berger off the hook. And we allowed Bill Clinton to rebuild his image with things like the tsunami relief and papal funeral visits.
If Hillary wins in 2008, much of the blame goes to the poor political apparatus of the white house during these two terms on issues like this.
