Did Oklahoma City Bombers Have Help?

One month after the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing (search) that killed 168 people, authorities demolished what was left of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building (search). Officials said the implosion was a necessary part of the psychological recovery for the citizens of Oklahoma City. But critics question the FBI’s tactics and argue the building came down too soon and the implosion is one piece of a government cover-up. Survivor VZ Lawton remembers the events after the attack. “I was in my office at my desk signing papers and all of a sudden the building began to shake,” said Lawton. “The lights went out, debris started falling and then something hit me on the head and knocked me out before the truck bomb ever went off.” Lawton and some others believe Timothy McVeigh (search) — who was convicted of federal conspiracy and murder charges in the bombing and executed in 2001 — and convicted conspirator Terry Nichols (search) weren't alone in plotting the attack. During the investigation the FBI circulated sketches of “John Does” and in response received thousands of conflicting tips from across the country.

Didn't Clinton apointees shred a whole bunch of important documents about this? I think it was more to cover up incompetence than cooperation.

"knocked me out before the truck bomb ever went off."

Pardon me for asking, but if he was knocked out, how does he know the truck bomb went off later? Did he regain conciousness before the truck was blown up?

I fear that at the very least the FBI is top-heavy with stupid and incompetent morons. Not just regular run-of-the-mill morons, but stupid and incompetent morons. At the worst, there's a sinister cover-up going on here. But before we look at the cover-up issue, I think the issue of institutionalized stupidity and incompetence in this most important of organizations must be addressed. The reason they won't follow the trail of those phone records in a case involving so many dead Americans is .... ???

And the reason they can't release records in a case that is "open" when they were so quick to "close" it by pinning all the blame on the Nichols and McVeigh is ... ???

Stupid. Incompetent. Morons. Or worse.

Gorelick.

Gorelick covered up EVERYTHING for EVERYBODY. And she wrote the book.

"WE also finally have our own copy of Gorelick's book "Destruction of Evidence"
and we will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, be fired again by anyone.
"

THE OBSTRUCTION OF THE OKLAHOMA BOMBING GRAND JURY INVESTIGATION,
The Mysterious Jamie Gorelick Phone Call
By David Hoffman,Sun Sep 14 12:10:57 1997

On Aug. 22, 1996, just before the Democratic National Convention,
Ms. Gorelick oversaw a critical Justice Department meeting with the FBI.
mmediately after this meeting, as it happened,
all serious inquiry into the fate of TWA 800 came to an end.

Gorelick was instrumental in the corruption of TWA Flight 800 terrorism investigation
Did Clinton appointee corrupt Flight 800 probe?

GORELICK GATE - various FR links

Consider: If Gorelick, Clarke and Clinton had been completely HONEST
to the American public about the Islamic-crashed airplanes, like TWA800, in the 90's
or the other Islamic terror attacks, then Americans WOULD have been on alert on 911
and would have had the opportunity to prevent the 911 Atrocities.

Hard for me to believe that McVeigh was involved with Islamic terrorists after he was a tank gunner in the Gulf War and killed dozens of Islamo types.

Timothy McVeigh said he killed enemy soldiers there but grew to question whether he was doing the right thing. "I thought ... what right did I have to come over to this person's country and kill him? How did he ever transgress against me?"

I know this is going to make someone ofer me more tinfoil for my hat, but in light of the fact that mass murderers and other monsters sit on death row for 20 years or more, doesn't it seem odd how fast they executed Timothy McVeigh?

The damage that resulted could not have occurred from a van parked outside… I don't care how fancy an explosive was used. What did in that building… was an inside job.

A Federal Government worker, who had witnessed the blast first-hand. "He was approximately five blocks from the building whenever the building went up. He claims that the top of the building went up like a missile going through it. The debris was coming back down when the side of the building blew out. He said third and last, the truck blew up on the street.

Like Flight 800 I believe this was terrorist and the Clinton's didn't want to be bothered.

How can anybody POSSIBLY think there is a connection between this bombing and members of a religion of peace? Especially when Our Government tells us there is no such thing?

Didn't McVeigh ask to be executed?

--I think it seemed odd to a lot of us.

Even though he purportedly turned down any extensive appeal procedure, it was still fast for an execution --especially a federal one---

If you have to choose between incompetence or malice, go for incompetence and you are right 99% of the time. Someone told me that once and it has rung true for me for many years, and lessened my paranoia.

For me the clincher is that McVeigh mixed and loaded the bomb by himself.

Try mixing ONE barrel of dry fertilizer with anything, by hand. I'm pretty fit, and I know how beat I am after mixing just a couple wheelbarrow loads of cement for foundation piers.

It would have taken three people, at least, to make the bomb.

Yes, the likeliest answer is that it was a botched "sting" and Clintoon chose to turn it into a propaganda event.
