Liberals are liberals, no matter what country they are in. They smell the same, operate the same, cheat and lie the same...well, you know the rest.

And this is one of the countries our Washington elitists want to "unify into one continent" with the U.S. -- God help us.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, eh?

Interesting though that no one in Canada is very surprised.

Even the newscasters are laughing out loud while they report the latest breaking news on this story.

I think the nervous laughter may subside once Canadians wake up to the fact that Stephan Harper has to negotiate terms with the Bloc.

It must be hard for American Freepers to understand a political party like the Bloc, whose mandate is to break up Canada.

Never underestimate the power of the Fiberals in the Greater Toronto Area. Those are 40 seats (the rural periphery doesn't count) that are almost all universally Liberal and no poll suggests that will change, especially in the 416 area code.

The Conservatives need to focus on the rest of Ontario (including Northern Ontario - play the gun registry card?) and try to get as many of those 65 seats as they can. Then, if things go well, they should try to penetrate into the 905 area around Toronto.

[Here's one last disquieting thought, though: The Liberals have promised to pay back all the illegal public money received by the party -- now estimated at as much as $3 million. But last year they passed legislation ensuring that political parties' operations and campaigns are now almost 90 per cent funded by tax dollars. Does that mean the Liberals will now get away with using taxpayer money to repay taxpayers for the tax dollars that were misappropriated to the party in Adscam?]

They never use their own money for anything but pleasure and would not be liberals if they did repay out of their own funds. Liberals always lie, cheat and steal and make promises they never keep. The term gladhand is genuinely their best description at their best.
