One of the theories (because the Bush admin. does not feel it has to explain itself to its citizens) is the concept of continental integration is a big part of the reason Bush will not do anything about the illegal immigration issue

This is correct. This movement within our government was first made public in 1994 at the first Summit of the Americas. In that Summit and subsequent summits, directives about "migrants" have been issued and implemented. The Summit directives say that migrants should freely move about the continent(which is the illegal immigration) they should have the same rights as the "nationals"(free education, health care, right to belong to unions etc) they should be able to collect social security from the US and take it back to their home countries, and they shouldn't have to pay so much for remittances( hence the acceptance of the matricula consular phony ids for opening bank accounts and a federal effort to get financial institutions to lower the cost of moving money out of the country. All this information is in the Summit papers, no one but educational institutions and think tanks seem to be aware of it because the MSM doesn't report the facts.

Is Washington "secretly" forcing something upon the American people they, in majority, most likely do not want???

Washington, the Council of the Americas, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Organization of American States, the Summit of the Americas, the United Nations and foreign business interests all are pushing for this "continental integration". Not the citizens of this country, a majority of us want to keep our Constitution and our sovereignty. The government is even going so far as to enlist the aid of immigrants to work as agents of their home countries to convince the Congress to pass trade agreements like CAFTA to speed the integration along. They are not enlisting citizens or even asking them their opinion. Citizens do not have a lot of influence in Washington these days.

You know that feeling you get when you are so pissed off that you can feel the muscles twitching in your face above your lip (happens to me on the right side)?

That's what I feel when I read about this crap.

Who in the hell are these son of a bitches to be casually discussing relieving me of my freedoms, my Constitution, and my Nation? I owe ZERO allegiance to "North America". My family has not fought and died for this country for 250 years just to have some smug globalist assholes plotting the demise of this nation's sovereignty like they are planning a bake sale.

Thanks for the response, which just bolsters my fears. So what option do the citizens have in the face of effectively being betrayed by their own government ???
