Linux is basically free; microsoft charges and outrageous amount. If someone has for instance 3 computers at home, and wants to upgrade OS's he is supposed to buy 3 shrink wrapped boxes, win xp is $200 which is forking over $600 bucks to the richest man in the world for cdroms that basically cost 50 cents to reproduce. And this is cheaper than a freely copied open source cd? HA!!!
