FreeRepublic Pledges (Vanity)
TheHound

Posted on 04/06/2005 6:50:29 PM PDT by TheHound

Why do these pledge periods have to take so long? For a measly $66,000, I would think the pledge period would only last about a week. If everyone who used this cite for longer, in a year, than they do reading a magazine subsciption, pledged the price of a magazine subscription, I believe the pledge amount would be met in about two days. I certainly hope the day never comes when I have to see "Cialis" ads blinking on the right side of the FR page so they can pay for bandwidth!

Now that is interesting. Perhaps you could quote some of my "bootlicking" comments on this thread?

I believe they exist only in your fevered imagination.

And I am just giving you the drama that you seem to crave. Perhaps we should explore your cravings for being the center of attention a little deeper. Childhood issues perhaps?

I'm sort of embarassed for the man now. This display of rank bootlicking is just too much, really. Give the poor guy a break, willya?

Gee .. could that be what you were attempting to do all this time?

What is all this supposed to accomplish? You've gotten your answer about why I did what I did, which is, honestly, more than you're entitled to have, and yet you're not satisfied with it. Too bad. Get over it. Nobody cares. Quit trying to score brownie points after the fact.

Jim Robinson was on the east coast at that time and just returned to calif, immediately answered the question. So...

In other words you can not provide any backup for what you have said and insinuated.

That is typical behavior for the overly dramatic. Usually it is teenage girls who display this kind of behavior. I find it interesting.

Well, see, the problem with that theory, Dr. Freud, is that I never insinuated anything - I just asked a question. Any insinuations you see are wholly your own invention, so whenever you're ready, I'll free up the psychoanalysis couch for you. That way you can spend a bit of time navel-gazing, and eventually discover the culprit responsible for these insinuations that are plaguing you so.

I hope for Jim's sake that he never decides to come to a sudden stop - you'll be wearing him like a hat

What was the question here?

Unlike you. I can provide back up.

What's this supposed to accomplish? Is it for personal gratification, or are you trying to score points with someone else? Be honest now.

I am just doing some course work for my business psychology class now.

Loved psychology classes and even had a poem written for me. It went something like this:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I am crazy
and so am I.

Maybe a little multiple personality?

Sorry General, I thought I was putting a end to it.

I saw it coming, as it always does. The question has been answered, but that is not enough. They want the pound of flesh for asking it..

Seems like I have read about societies in the past and some in the present that forbid such things as asking questions. Sure have..............

Thankfully, that is not what we do here.

Eh, you're hardly responsible for what someone else does, so no problem. If there are those who need to score freeper brownie points at my expense, so be it. Personally, I'll give a crap about freeper brownie points when you can cash them in for a beer, but whatever ;)

For all I care, you could light ceegars with my money, although as measly as the amount is you may want to get it in ones.

I want a service, you provide it, and I am willing to pay for it.

Thanks for FR!
