Some of my friends from Portugal don't have birth certificates (none were ever issued) so they can't prove where they were born and couldn't get a Portugese passport either. That's probably true for a lot of other immigrants also, especially people over 40 who were born before birth certificates were mandatory in some countries.
I'll still bet you a case of beer that this will never implemented for more than a few weeks.

Last time I went to Mexico (Cabo) -it's been a while- all that was required was a voter registration card. A card I got without showing any ID at all.

What you will see is discounted prices on passports and family discounts.
As for your friends from Portugal, everything they need to get Portuguese passports is in their immigration file.

"Name one 85 year old women that has had a body cavity search." I didn't say they've done it. I just said they do it best. And, I might add, they're well prepared to do it to protect national security.

That's BS. That is not BS. Your leader, George Bush, has called for millions of Mexicans to come in illegally and do the jobs Americans won't do. Nobody in his administration has cared that a few thousand criminals have come through with them. Just as long as the Mexicans get here anyway they can, Bush knows they'll never leave.
You are blind as a bat, and care nothing for America's laws. Homeland Security does nothing about open borders, or cares who comes through.

What word best describes this? Surreal? Denial? Public relations sham? Government.
