I might as well join the dialog. I've been very depressed myself. Listess. I have to force myself to get things done, light-headed, etc. I've also found it almost impossible to pray. Emotionally spent.

Since there were many Dems on Terri's side I'm going to take each campaign on the merits of life. I'm sick and tired of talk, talk, and more talk. I think we must bring pressure (big time pressure) on these pols right now and take back some ground. Performance is what counts

I've been thinking about Pat Buchanan alot. Maybe his time has come. Our borders would be a lot more secure, he probably wouldn't mince words on any of the life issues and he seems to be the type to put it on the line. He was right on economic issues too. He left the Republican party because he's not a sell out.

The media is tying the low approval ratings for Bush and Congress to the Schiavo intervention. I think the low approval ratings are not because they intervened but because they failed. If they had done what it took to assure a living Terri Schiavo, they would have soaring approval ratings. As it is, they made the media morons mad by intervening and did it in such a disappointing way they made their supporters uninterested.

As the Zogby poll points out, the president and Congress were exactly in tune with the American public at large.

Funny you should mention Pat, I've been thinking the same thing. Don't know a lot about the man, we supported him the last time he ran and he seems to be a man of principal. I would probably back Tom Delay over Pat though if he would run.
Now about not praying..this you must do or they will have won. Besides I have it on good authority that they (Michael, Felos, Greer, etc...) have received a death sentence.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
For those of us who have fought for Terri, we have every right and opportunity to keep doing what we know is right.
If we each do what we can do and support one another, victory is ours.
