Right, I would want people to make as much noise as possible so as to disturb other patients at the hospice. I would want news crews and protesters rooming the halls. I would not want any peace and quiet. < /sarcasm>
A feeding tube does not quench your thirst. A feeding tube does not assuage your hunger.
I am not in the habit of reacting to emotion and fear. I have been close to death several times myself. I am not unfamiliar with the situation. I was with my late wife when she died, mainly from starvation and thirst due to a cancer. Sheryl was lucid at times the last few days and we discussed what was happening.
